Lunar Year issues are always popular with collectors, and the ones that CIT mints for Mongolia have become annual favorites! The 2023 issue, featuring the 'Year of the Rabbit', will celebrate the 7th anniversary of the series. As in previous years, there will be three distinct and highly collectible releases - a unique one ounce silver coin in the shape of a hare, a five gram silver banknote and a half gram gold proof coin.
The first is minted from one fine silver ounce and features the cute silver rabbit as a three-dimensional numismatic sculpture. Look at his cute face and floppy ears. It will make you smile immediately. It is embossed in a way that allows it to stand on its own two feet, making it an ideal display and conversation piece. It is presented in an elegant collector's box and is limited to just 999 pieces.

The second release features the hare on a highly detailed five gram silver banknote. This special banknote beautifully shows the contrast between the different silver surfaces as well as the brilliant color that has been masterfully applied. This note has a face value of 100 Togrog and is limited to only 5,000 pieces. Finally, the hare is proudly presented on half a gram of gold in proof quality. As a perfect complement to the silver coin and banknote, you can see the image, which is similar to that of the shaped ounce coin. The hare is surrounded by a highly detailed edge and has a mintage of only 5000 pieces.
