Bright and bracing, Silvanus evokes a walk in the deepest part of the forest, accompanied by nothing but clean air and birdsong.

Oud, clove and saffron open the composition with a sharp, almost metallic freshness. This is quickly followed by a plethora of woods, sappy, aromatic and a little soapy from the lily of the valley. Waxy greenery is hinted at throughout the composition, which could be the tang of pine needles, or something more floral like hidden blossoms.
