As the official means of payment in the People's Republic of China, this 30 gram silver coin has a face value of 10 yuan. Since the Panda investment coin was first released in 1987, it has developed into a classic among precious metal investment products and enjoys a continually growing, international fan base.

On the back, the Silver Panda classically shows the consistent motif of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, which was used by the Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to pray for a good harvest every year.
