The dragon – a legend 

This special Australian silver coin in the rectangular shape of the coin bar has been produced by the Perth Mint since 2018. A Chinese dragon was chosen as the motif on the obverse of this coin - an elaborate and visually appealing image.

This beautiful coin bar features a majestic Chinese dragon about to breathe a ball of fire. The dragon is so large and imposing that it covers the entire front of the coin bar. Its sharp claws and huge teeth are signs of its incredible strength. At the top left you can see the small, embossed P of the Perth Mint on the motif side.
